I'm new at this...

After viewing my sister's blog, I caught the "blogging fever". Plus I wanted to comment on her posts and it wouldn't let me because I wasn't a member of the "blog community." So....I have decided to share my thrilling life with fellow bloggers because in a few months, life will be getting slightly hectic.

On December 18th of this year (exactly 79 days from today) I will be joined in holy matrimony with my love, Steven Day. He and I have been together for about two and half years and it has been nothing short of an amazing journey. I could go on for hours about how great Steven is and how he is much much more than I deserve. He is the inspiration behind my blog title "Woving Life"because instead of saying "I love you" we say "I wove you". Stupid, I know, but I think it's cute. God has blessed us greatly and if you want to read all about our journey together, you can visit our wedding website at www.theknot.com/ourwedding/candacemcconnell&stevenday. We already have two children that I will probably blog about soon, our pups Buckshot and Bandit. They are our babies!!

We serve a great God and He continues to pour out His blessings over our lives and we are so thankful! Currently, we are going through MIP which is the Church of God Minister Internship Program, and although the work load from that just adds to the chaos of planning a wedding, going to school, working, serving in ministry, and getting a house ready to live it, it has been a great experience so far. It is a nine month program and although it's enjoyable, we will be glad when it comes to an end.

Aside from a wonderful soon-to-be hubby, I have an AMAZING family, including my future in-laws. They are all so supportive and I could go on and on about them too. Last night I posted an album on Facebook called "the 5 best tots in the whole wide world"with tons of pics of my 3 beautiful nieces and my 2 handsome nephews. They have taught me a vast amount of patience through the years and my heart overflows with love for them.

My best friend from college, Martha, currently lives in GA and I miss her terribly!! I am currently trying to talk her into moving to SC because I just can't stand my best friend being so far away!! Her and her husband are an amazing couple and we love them very much!!

I am surrounded by awesome friends and family who have made me who I am today and I am so thankful that God has placed them in my life. It just wouldn't be the same without them. I'm new at this blogging thing, but hopefully I will get the hang of it. In the meantime, enjoy the stories from our crazy busy, insane, wonderful, beautiful lives!!
